Absolutely! You’re free to disembark at each destination and explore at your own pace. You can either wander on your own or pre-book an MSC-organised shore experience (totally optional). Just make sure to keep an eye on the ship’s all-aboard time, she waits for no one!
December is one of the best times to visit the Caribbean, warm, tropical weather with average temps around 25–28°C. It’s also outside the hurricane season, making it a great time to cruise. Expect sunny days and balmy nights (perfect for deck cocktails!).
Most modern ships, including the MSC Divina, are very stable and you’ll hardly feel movement. However, if you’re concerned, we recommend bringing motion sickness bands or medication, just in case.
You’ll have several hours in each port, with plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Some stops, like Ocho Rios and Cozumel, offer full-day stays, while others like Aruba have shorter windows. You can book optional shore excursions or simply wander and soak up the local vibe.
