After a delicious Canadian breakfast, we'll set off to discover Calgary, a vibrant city where modern skyscrapers meet rich western heritage. Often referred to as the gateway to the Canadian Rockies, Calgary perfectly blends big-city energy with a laid-back atmosphere and spectacular mountain backdrops.
Our guided sightseeing tour will take us to many of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the famous Calgary Tower, historic Fort Calgary and the legendary Stampede Grounds, home to the world-renowned Calgary Stampede. Today the real adventure begins as we leave Calgary behind and journey west towards the spectacular Canadian Rockies. As the open prairies gradually give way to towering mountain peaks, you'll witness one of Canada's most breathtaking drives as we make our way to the charming alpine town of Banff.
Along the journey, we'll pass Calgary Olympic Park, home to the 1988 Winter Olympics, before entering the world-famous Banff National Park, Canada's oldest and most celebrated national park. Keep your camera close by, as today's drive offers our first glimpse of the incredible scenery that has made the Rockies famous around the world.
On arrival in Banff, we'll enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of this picturesque mountain town. Today is one of the true highlights of our Canadian Rockies adventure as we explore two of the region's most spectacular national parks.
Our first stop is the world-famous Lake Louise, where brilliant turquoise waters, framed by towering mountain peaks and the magnificent Victoria Glacier, create one of the most photographed landscapes in Canada. Take time to wander the lakeshore, capture unforgettable photos and simply soak in the breathtaking scenery.
From here, we'll continue into neighbouring Yoho National Park, renowned for its dramatic mountain landscapes, waterfalls and pristine wilderness. We'll visit the incredible Natural Bridge, where the powerful Kicking Horse River has carved its way through solid rock, before stopping at the stunning Emerald Lake, famous for its vibrant emerald-green waters surrounded by towering forests and rugged peaks. Get ready for one of the most scenic drives in the world as we travel the breathtaking Icefields Parkway, a spectacular route connecting Banff and Jasper through the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
Today's journey is filled with unforgettable scenery, from towering snow-capped peaks and ancient glaciers to turquoise lakes, rushing waterfalls and endless alpine wilderness. Along the way, we'll stop at the stunning Peyto Lake, famous for its brilliant blue waters and incredible panoramic views.

Travelling along scenic mountain highways, we'll pass the tranquil waters of Moose Lake before enjoying spectacular views of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Standing proudly at almost 4,000 metres, this towering mountain is often wrapped in cloud, creating a truly dramatic sight.
Our journey continues through the breathtaking Wells Gray Provincial Park, a pristine wilderness renowned for its ancient forests, rushing rivers and spectacular waterfalls. Today we continue our journey west towards Canada's beautiful Pacific Coast, travelling through some of British Columbia's most spectacular scenery before arriving in the vibrant city of Vancouver.
As we leave Sun Peaks behind, we'll pass through Kamloops before entering the dramatic Fraser Canyon, where towering granite cliffs rise above the powerful Fraser River. This historic route played a significant role during the famous 1858 Gold Rush, and as we travel through the canyon, we'll learn about the pioneers and prospectors who once made this remarkable journey. Today is our first full day at sea as we cruise the spectacular Inside Passage, one of the world's most scenic coastal waterways. Stretching along the rugged coastline of British Columbia and Alaska, this protected network of islands, fjords and forest-covered mountains offers breathtaking scenery in every direction.
Spend the day out on deck, camera in hand, taking in the ever-changing landscapes as we glide past towering cliffs, tranquil bays and dense evergreen forests. This morning, we arrive back in beautiful Vancouver after an unforgettable seven-night journey through Alaska’s spectacular Inside Passage.
After disembarking from Serenade of the Seas, we’ll be met and transferred to our hotel in downtown Vancouver. As our rooms may not be ready immediately, the hotel will store our luggage, leaving us free to head out and enjoy one more day in this vibrant coastal city.
The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. You may choose to take a leisurely walk along the famous Stanley Park Seawall, browse the galleries and boutiques of South Granville, catch a ferry across False Creek to Granville Island or relax at one of Yaletown’s cafés and watch the city go by.
For those wanting one final mountain adventure, an optional full-day excursion to Whistler may also be available, travelling along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway with stops at Shannon Falls and time to explore the alpine village.

Following breakfast, we'll depart Niagara Falls and transfer to Toronto Pearson International Airport. Along the way, you'll have time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences we've shared—from the turquoise lakes and towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies to the glaciers of Alaska's Inside Passage and the breathtaking power of Niagara Falls.

No. This is a land-only package, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that suits you best. We can arrange your international flights, airport hotels and stopovers, or you're welcome to book your own flights and meet us in Calgary on the first day of the tour.

Whether you're travelling solo, as a couple or with friends, you'll enjoy travelling with a friendly group of like-minded people while Renee and Kelley take care of the logistics.
Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo, and our hosted journeys are a wonderful way to meet new friends. You can choose to share a room (subject to availability) or enjoy the privacy of your own room for a single supplement.
This tour involves a moderate amount of walking. Most sightseeing is at a relaxed pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos and enjoy the scenery. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and guests should be able to manage stairs, uneven paths and getting on and off coaches and the cruise ship independently.
Your accommodation, touring, internal flight, breakfasts during the land tour and all meals onboard the cruise are included. You'll simply need to budget for lunches and dinners during the land tour (where applicable), optional activities, drinks, shopping, gratuities and personal expenses.
Places are limited and this journey is expected to fill quickly. We recommend registering your interest as early as possible so we can prepare your personalised proposal and secure your place before the tour reaches capacity.

Late August and September are considered one of the best times to visit Canada and Alaska. Expect comfortable daytime temperatures, crisp mornings and evenings, and the beautiful colours of early autumn beginning to appear throughout the Canadian Rockies. We recommend packing layers, a waterproof jacket and comfortable walking shoes.
You will need a valid passport and may require visas or electronic travel authorisations depending on your nationality. Travel Connex will provide guidance on what is required, but securing documents is the traveller’s responsibility.
